Tips & Tools

Doodles/sketches/mini-maps of the setting are handy for knowing where things are, so players don’t have to argue about the relative space and shape of the setting.
Turn reminder sheets are another handy tool. An example has been provided at the bottom of this page. Reminder sheets help you keep track of stopping your opponent and progressing towards your goal each turn.
(I created these because I realised there was a correlation every time I lost a match. I had either hadn’t progressed towards my goal on a pivotal turn, or I had forgot to create an obstacle for my opponent, handing them the win.)
You may want to have models or props for your signatures, so your opponents can recognise them. As well as display cards with your signatures’ names, abilities, weaknesses and guiding principles.
Lastly, feel free to mess around and create your own rulesets. Like maybe winning a goal gives you victory points to spend in a signature/abilities shop. Maybe you can choose an extra goal as a “side quest” that gives you less victory points but completing it wins you what would be a tied game. Basically, if you like designing, use your initiative and have fun with it!
And that’s everything! I hope you enjoy playing and creating with Brimagine. I cannot wait to see what you come up with! – Authilbrim

You can write notes each turn or you can simply use tallies or check marks to note your progress.
